If I can be brief, to say the best decision I made was to join CrestAgile training platform is not an exaggeration.

Having joined, I began to listen to recorded videos. Sage and I had met on a training course. I called him thinking he was still with that center but he said he had started his own. I decided to join Crestagile on a journey that I can now proudly describe as amazing, inspiring and successful.

I guess for me, you might say it’s a bit easier as I work in IT, yet it was still a huge task as the programme required 100% commitment, dedication and focus. Oh, it’s hard, I won’t sugar-coat it but it’s doable as you’ve heard various success stories including mine now.

After a 3-stage interview and 2 interviews a couple of days later, I got an offer.

The bottom line is that this platform works and it creates the environment for you to be successful whilst exposing you to the resources you need to flourish.

Once again, thank you all as I can’t thank you enough.

My Journey started in 2021, when I joined CrestAgile on the first day of Sprint 1 two weeks after the onboarding of new candidates.

I was determined to work my socks off to be up to speed with the team.

Two months prior to this I had joined another learning platform where I met a friend and we both complained about not getting enough support from the platform. So one day I decided to attend the Taste of Agile session and became a Crestian from that day.

It has been an eventful and successful experience.

Coming from a Banking career with no prior project management experience per se, but by the time I had spent 2 months, I knew I could start warming up for the interviews , because of the high learning standards, intense work ethics and value driven daily work experience.

Fast forward to early this year I got an opportunity to Interview with a company that I had previously spoken with just before Christmas. I had a two-hour face to face Interview, and it was a One stage Interview Process. God’s willing, I got a call the next day that I was successful.

In a nutshell, take ownership, do your best to attend all the meetings and ceremonies and you will be surprised at how far you have gone.

Personally, I will also advise that we passionately watch the videos on the Crestlearn platform to reinforce our practical knowledge and experience. Try and watch it at least 3 times until you get your “aha” moment.

I finally have my success story. I was on another platform and was watching a video which happened to be a training by Sage and then, I said to myself I need to look for this guy 😂. I logged on LinkedIn and found his profile and said to myself this guy won’t be cheap ooo😂.

I also found out he had started training and reached out to him and the rest they say is history. I had been stagnant and really needed a change, with the different time zones, working only night shifts, it wasn’t easy but I knew what I wanted.

The job search stage was also another hurdle,interviewing and making it to the final stages without any feedback.

There were a few times I gave up but thank God for my mentors who kept motivating me to continue applying and not to give up😃.I kept on applying and I finally found my job.

I missed meetings a couple of times but never missed a day without watching a video from our video library.

Guys, it’s possible.Just give it your all because your success story has already been written!.

I remember saying this was my best year so far on last week’s Scrum Masters Guild and yes it has been awesome.

God has been awesome this year and I can’t stop thanking him.

I finally got a job, a very great job with a lovely company to be precise.

Finally, all my hard work, reading, CRAMMING, has paid off.

Sage, God bless you greatly for allowing me to go through this experience with you. Crestmonds has really blown my mind in not just understanding agile more, but having a strong foot I can beat my chest on any day anytime.

From the collaboration, to the knowledge sharing, to the disagreements of ideas, to the late-night meetings, it has all helped.Thank you team.

The zeal and passion in all of us to excel has been a great driving force and I wish everyone else success stories very soon. I always told myself it can be done, because all we do here is what is being done outside, even better.
